[[Okay, so I know you were all waiting SO long for this to happen, and now it's happening yay. SO first off, this will be the master thread to the entire battle. Huge events that affect the enite battleground will be posted here, but ONLY if it changes the course of events for everyone. Example: Kat coming with the dragons, everyone should know. I (Vissiand/Kithandre) will be posting in here most of the time, but I'll jump around the rest of the battle (and I know you're not gonna like this, but for organizational purposes, I'm the only one allowed to post in multiple thread). There are three other threads as you can see: each one represents three trenches. I divided everyone who I know personally into these trenches, so if your name's not on any of the lists, don't freak out, just pick a trench, any trench. The first post in each trench will have the list of characters I assigned there. And please, if you don't like where you are, don't randomly jump to another trench, it'll just mess things up. PM me if it's gonna be a REALLY BIG DEAL. Okay, I think that covers it, just post in your thread and only your thread unless it's something important, in which case use this, the master thread, which everyone should be checking for updates, and the next post here will start the battle. Good luck to you all!]]

[[One last thing, I knwo that Trench 3 is a healing trench. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN'T FIGHT, it just means that if you're a healer, you should post there, AND, if at any time in the battle your character becomes too injured to fight, then you are allowed to 'jump' to the healing trench. Once you're there, stay there until your char is healed, then go to your original trench. Healing may get crowded, so don't stay too long. And if you're there because I put you there or you dcided to join, you can still/probably should fight. Otherwise it's no fun.]]

[[And now it begins.]] Vissiand was crouched down, waiting, for any sign. The three trenches were all in a perfect line, separated by about twenty feet of space. Enchantments were used to hold the sand in place, and more invisible magical shields protected those inside. But Vissiand was waiting outside, hidden in the heavy mist that the morning had brought. Because the vampires couldn't fight in the sun, clouds had been summoned and conjured around the entire school grounds, bringing with them the intense fog. The only problem was, they couldn't see that far out into the sea. And then he saw it. He turned, and saw Kithandre grin at the sight. A single ship on the horizon--all black, with red sails. And then another ship. And another. And then the other thousand appeared. Ou of the fog, silent, bringing death with them. Vissiand heard Ziltik inside his head, Are you sure the rest will hold their ground? Vissiand thought, It was their choice to be out here. They know just as wel as we do it's too late now. The ships crept closer, no longer tiny dots on the horizon. Vissiand could make out the detailed designs on the sails. "Why...are they taking they're time?" whispered Kithandre.
[[After this, you can all postonce in your threads just to establish where they are. I'll wait until most of you have posted, and then I'll start the *fighting*. Just please, be patient, and don't make anything happen prematurely. I want to make sure everyone is here before it starts.]]

Vissiand's glance immediately shot over to the left trench. He stared at Lunis. "Fool!" he hissed, "Now who knows what they'll--" But it was too late. Although the enemy ships loomed in the distance, barely visible in the fog, somethign in the water rippled about fifty yards off shore. Steam rose from the sea, and then in an instant an entire formation of dropships emerged from the waves. Three lines deep, wide enough to cover the whole of the beach, they gained unholy speed as they approached the shore. Painted blood red, made of enforced iron, casted with dark spells to keep any sort of magic out, they approached with the menace of death. Kithandre grinned. Vissiand released Ziltik from his pendant. Immediately the demon leapt into the center trench for healing. Kithandre dove into the left trench, and Vissiand flew over to the right trench. He hovered above, briefly glancing at the approaching ships. They weren't that big, but he doubt any attacks could do much damage...More were appearing behind the first line, they were popping up out of the water faster than he was comfortable with. He spat on the sand. Who was he to be scared? He was a vampire, a creature of death, with no feelings, no emotions, no fear! He drew his twin scimitars, held them above his head. He whispered, "So it begins." He screamed out into the fog, "COME AND GET ME, ASHKAHN!!! I'M READY!"

Demon List--Theres are the creatures we will be fighting. Feel free to use them at any time or in any matter. (Except people, don't make yourself a hero, seriously. It gets old. If the thing is stronger than you, put up a fight. Don't flick it off with one spell like you're masterchief). Also, I am making up the names for these things on the sopt (or taking them from WoW), so please, don't complain.
1. Imp--Short, Black or green, uses fire, weakest 2. Wraith--Humanoid, dark violet ghost, uses fear and dark magic 3. Voidwalker--Big Blue blob of angry magic...use your imagination 4. Succubus--Men, and I mean MEN, we're gonna have a problem with these. (And lesbians. -A.T.) 5. Dragon--Yes, they have dragons, since dragons are considered demons. They coem in all shapes and sizes kids, so have fun battling them. 6. Warlocks--Bald, black robes, mean looking men and women, cast magic, very dangerous 7. Grunts--only 4 feet tall, red, bulky body, carry round shields and a random assortment of weapons. 8. Orcs--Think LOTR people. 9. Goblins--Green, short, hunched over, crummy armor, easiest to kill 10. High orcs--Slightly bigger and more organized than normal orcs (and I swear to God people if I read one post about an Uruk-Hai in Valcentica I will kill them, physically kill them). 11. Dark Humans--People under the control of Ashkahn 12. Ashkahn--Huge massive demon, overloard of this army, when he enters the battle I will describe him for you all. In the meantime, all you need to knwo is that he exists. 13. Zombies--Kat, this ones for you. 14. Rhinosaurs--Since I was bored, I ffused a Rhino with a Dino to make this...thing. I thought it would be fun. 15. Last but certainly not least, the Death Dealers. These guys are the strongest warriors in the entire army. IF YOU BATTLE ONE PLEASE TAKE LONGER THAN ONE POST TO KILL IT i want this fight to be realistic, not retarded. They wear black armor, with a melmet coverign their entire face except for their two red eyes, have a black cape, and they're weapon is a shield in one hand and an axe in another. Also, they have horns. These gusy are scary so im you see one, freak out. Even if you're a professor, anyone would be scared of these in real life.
Other than that, all I can say is we're doing a dance with the devil himself. If you have an idea of a demon, don't run it by me, just post! They can technically take any form, so if you want to throw a dementor in be my guest! Anything is possible. And remember, fight hard, but don't kill a dragon in one hit. It just ruins the moment.

Vissiand was out of breath. The battle had lasted longer than he had expected. He looked over to Kithandre and Ziltik, and they seemed to be holding their own. I don't understand, I'm not supposed to run out of energy, he thought, scanning the horizon for more oncoming ships. If anything, they had exausted the bulk of their army and had to be getting desperate. But the entire Death Dealer regiment had been wiped out years ago, and all he saw on the water was--
And then his heart, which technically should not have been beating in the first place, skipped a beat.
A large, black ship appeared out of the mist, with red triangular sails. On them was the Emblem of Fire--a massive flame consuming a human form. It was the signet of Ashkahn himself.
No...no...I don't believe it...he has never taken part in any of his battles... But sure enough, the ship blazed through the waters, coming ever closer towards the shore. Vissiand shot a mental warning out to Ziltik, who rebounded it to anyone who could hear it. ASHKAHN! HE's HERE! Everyone who can, reform positions! The ship with the Emblem of Fire on its sails, that contains the most powerful fighter in the world! Do not directly attack the ship, it will be useless, but wherever he appears, call out!
Vissiand clutched his scimitars, remembering last time he fought Ashkahn...he had hoped it would not boil down to another dual.
* * *
Two miles off the shore, Ashkahn sat at his throne aboard his flagship, the Reaper. He sat meditating, and then opened his dark eyes, staring out across the battlefeild.
His voice was nothing human at all, it was not even a croak. It was the whisper of the fire from Hell itself, it was the scream of the wind from the Heavens, but whether he spoke in screams or softly, the mere sound of it sent any normal human scurrying for cover. And as he gazed out onto the battlefield, he whispered to himself, but anything on board that heard felt a chill down there spine.
"I know where you are, Morgale. I could smell your stench from anywhere."
And the ship began sailing towards those fighters of the right flank of the beach.

(PROTIP: Alec's call to arms precedes Ashkahn's arrival by quite a bit. React to Alec first, then Ashkahn.)
