i am really mad that jk rowling didn't mention that dumbledore was gay sooner, im being serious...You can't finish a series and announce, "Oh this character was gay the whole time!" i think that's ridiculous. Seriously, would people stop reading the series if dumbledore was all about the rainbow? i think it was silly. Personally think that, like most things in this world, that it was all about money.

Actually, she didn't tell the world because she didn't feel it was terribly important to the plot, and that some people would figure it out for themselves. She was also a little concerned people would nnot give her the reaction they gave her. She actually said "If I knew you guys liked this so much I would have told you sooner." It wasn't a PR thing, and she didn't write the books because she wanted to get rich, she wrote them because she loves to write.

i know she loves to write and all, and that she is very dedicated to getting children to read at an early age, but it has just been bugging me for sometime, like ever since i found out i was like "dumbledore...gay...BAH!!!!!"

i thought it was obvious. i mean, he and grindlewald...well, as soon as i heard that he'd killed grindy, sparks went off in my head, my insane cogs began to roll and i shouted "ZOMG GAY SPAT...." which it wasn't really, bt at the same time...it totally was. they were gayer than to gaybirds in gaytown on the gayest day of july in gay suits. It was OBVIOUS. And personally, I LUUUUURVE it. Dumbly being gay...I mean, it's just FANTABULOUS.And it makes me happy.
