Luna smiled as she went to her next class.... not potions, because, in fact, she was horrible at potions. SHe may have to use it some time, yes, but not right now... she didn't want to right now. Maybe in her 2nd year when she would be better at it. She wlaked into the large wooden door that led her right into her next classroom...

Arlene laughed. "Okay, I'm sorry I was rude. Better? Please, don't go back to limits...." Limits made Arlene's brain hurt. Sure, she loved Arithmancy, but there were some parts of it that she just could not handle learning more than once, and limits were one of them. She prepared to tune out if Arden ignored her and ploughed on through the calculus textbook. He was funny, but.... he wasn't the most caring or sensitive guy in the world. Arlene could not see how Karia tolerated him as her boyfriend.

"Right-o. On to Minotaurs, werewolves, and other things part human." Arden shuffled through the books plied upon the desk and pulled out an exemely think one with a mossy cover. In fact, the cover WAS moss, with roots for binding. He flipped through Modern Wizarding Animals ans Creatures, until her found the write chapter. "You sure you don't want notes? This one's rather long," He warned.

"I don't need notes," Arlene assured him. "Trust me, I'll remember at least half of this before any tests." Half-human creatures fascinated Arlene anyway. A lot of what she knew, she knew from muggle fairy tales, which she'd been obsessed with when she was little. Of course, a lot of it was wrong - fairies, especially, were grossly mispresented in the childish tales of muggles - but a lot was also accurate. Just to make Arden happy, however, Arlene picked up her quill, dipped it in the inkpot, and poised it over the parchment, fully intending to put it down as soon as Arden wouldn't care anymore.
